More About Jazzy
I am a mixed-media Digital Designer and Marketing Professional with over a decade of progressive experience in design, marketing, leadership, business growth and development, growth hacking, SEO, content creation, web design, B2B Marketing & sales, digital content, graphic design, analytics, writing, editing, and social media. Whew, that’s a lot! And that doesn’t begin to cover the breadth of what I’ve done and can do.
I am highly skilled in retaining the voice of the client, while still helping to create a piece of work that has excellent stylistic and grammar pillars. I have formal editing experience, as well as formal experience writing for the web and print. I have worked for organizations big and small, in roles ranging from CEO to consultant to assistant. Now, I work as a marketing consultant and educator, helping brands & students alike to develop their voice and design.
I have first-hand experience with graphic and digital design, writing and editing, as well as website creation and SEO repairs. With these skills, I can help a client with a project from conception to go live.
Currently, I am a professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State, where I teach SEO: Search Engine Research & Strategy. Previously, I taught Defining the Digital Audience in the Digital Audiences program; both courses are taught online in a mass-enrollment, condensed-semester modality.
I am also an instructor at Lincoln Land Community College in the Integrated Media Design department (Art.) There, I teach all things Art and Design, from Motion Graphics to Film to Introduction to Digital Art (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.) These courses are taught in a full-semester, face-to-face modality.
