Professor Quick is amazing!! Yes, this class is difficult. You will need to put in the effort to get the grade. What else can be expected of a 300-level course? That being said, I loved this class! The assignments were super fun and engaging, and as long as you go by the rubric and NOT the example provided, you’ll get an A+.
She’s been incredibly easy to talk to, is always available to some degree on Slack and does in class lessons.
She shows us how to use a camera properly and exactly how to use it as well as how to use some new things in Adobe Premiere I haven’t learned before.

For our final short film project, I really like going through every step together and using templates.
Through step-by-step tutorials and lectures. Jazzy works very hard on these and her instructions are very easy to follow, allowing for swift understanding of whatever it is she is teaching. She is also very patient with students, eager to answer questions and help in any way that she can.
Professor Quick is the BEST! I only took MCO 307 to figure out which minor I wanted and she’s so sweet! She posts videos of what she expects weekly and gives you examples of previous student’s work and all discussions are open to view while doing the assignment. The quizzes are fairly straightforward and the two presentations are fun!
I had the great pleasure to work with Jazzy during my time managing public relations and social media at Arizona PBS. She was instrumental in establishing the social media presence for the organization and her understanding of the various audience dynamics of multiple platforms was impressive. She is an innovator and quickly grasps what is important, extraordinary and useful about a new modality and develops creative ideas to utilize it to benefit the business. Jazzy is dedicated and dependable. I would welcome any opportunity to work with Jazzy again. She excels at digital and multimedia projects and would be an asset to any team. No surprise that she had a great job offer with the state’s top news organization before she graduated.
